Human Resources Advisor

The Human Resources Advisor plays a strategic role in talent development and workforce management within the organization. Working closely with managers, the successful candidate will ensure the effective execution of HR processes while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
This is a temporary position of approximately 15 months to ensure the continuity of HR operations during a maternity leave, with an anticipated start date of October 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding new employees.
- Partner with managers to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Enhance employer brand visibility in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
- Participate in the development and implementation of annual training plans alongside managers.
- Support the annual performance evaluation process and identify employee development opportunities.
- Coordinate the OHS Committee and follow up on corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Prevention Mutual Group to maintain an effective prevention program.
- Participate in awareness and prevention initiatives to promote a safe work environment.
- Manage employee files, including enrollments, updates (CNESST, group insurance, RRSP), and sick leave documentation.
- Participate in the annual review of employee benefit plans to ensure they continue to meet employees' evolving needs.
- Process bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with the Warehouse Team Lead, ensuring accurate payroll coordination.
- Maintain a strong understanding of employment standards and applicable labor laws.
- Perform other related HR duties as required.
- Bring the employer brand to life by organizing social events, team-building activities, and internal initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and sense of belonging.
- Serve as a resource person for employees, providing support and responding to day-to-day needs.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (specialization in Human Resources or Industrial Relations)
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in an SME environment.
- Versatility and autonomy.
- Creativity and innovative thinking.
- French and English (intermediate level, both spoken and written).
- CRHA designation or membership.
- Excellent communication skills and active listening abilities.
